Rooted was recently invited to attend the event “Designing a Sustainable Future,” presented by by Levi’s and hosted by GOOD.  The event will be held at the Levi’s Haus in Hollywood (sometimes even I do the LA thing) in celebration of Levi’s Water<Less campaign, where they have partnered with Water.org to raise awareness for, and actively help the billions of people world wide that do not have access to clean water daily.  This is a huge problem in many parts of the developing world, and something that many of us are not even aware is an issue.  Take a minute to think how much you rely on water every day – not only to drink but to stay healthy, clean, and generally live a normal life.  It is inspiring to see companies not only raise awareness for responsible living, but actually take action to aid those in need.

I am excited to attend the event and listen to some of the country’s thought leaders on sustainability.  More to come following the event next week.
